Fatima Masood is a writer and editor who has worked in the media and in corporate communications. She has written for The Guardian, Observer, Sunday Times Magazine, The Independent, the FT, Grazia, Jezebel, Good Housekeeping and many other publications. She has been a freelance writer since 2006 and published her first book in 2007. As a journalist she was a regular contributor to the Guardian's Comment is Free blog
She is also the author of a popular weekly column on youth culture for the Huffington Post. She has worked as a communications consultant for organisations such as Amnesty International and the NSPCC. Fatima lives in London with her husband and two sons.
